GLAAD met with transgender students and allies at the University of Texas at Austin to discuss SB6 and how it will affect their lives. Teen Vogue picked up the story and change was made!
Following North Carolina's lead in 2017, Republicans in the Texas State Senate passed SB6, a bill that prevents transgender people in Texas from using public facilities that align with their gender identity.
